Cleburne — The Yellowjackets fell 56-28 to Midlothian Friday. Cleburne is 2-4 overall and 0-2 in District 7-5A. Midlothian led 21-0 in the first quarter and built a 49-14 advantage by the third. Cleburne gained more than 300 yards but gave up over 500. The Jackets play John Tyler Friday at Trinity Mother Francis Stadium, Tyler. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
Lady Jackets volleyball (12-18, 4-4 District 8-5A) face Joshua Tuesday and Burleson Friday. Cross country competes at the District 8-5A meet Thursday in Burleson.
