Overview: The Aledo Bearcats have a long been a powerhouse in Texas high school football, with a storied history that includes 12 state championships. For this program, anything less than a title is considered as a letdown. After last season’s disappointing fourth-round exit against Denton Ryan, the Bearcats are determined to bounce back and make another run at the 5A Division 1 state championship. With the talent and tradition in place, bringing a 13th state title back to Aledo is not just the goal, it’s a very real possibility especially with a head coach like Robby Jones leading the team.
