GLEN ROSE, Texas — Glen Rose will look to even its record tonight when the Tigers host Gatesville in their 2025 home opener at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Tigers dropped their season opener last week at Grandview, 28-14. The game was tied 14-14 at halftime before the Zebras pulled away with two third-quarter touchdowns.
Sophomore quarterback Judd Connally, making his first start, finished with 81 passing yards and 75 rushing yards. Luke Males and Cross Littlejohn scored the Tigers’ touchdowns.
Gatesville opened its season last week with a 48-15 victory over Taylor.
In volleyball, the Lady Tigers will also face Gatesville tonight after sweeping Granbury on Tuesday to improve to 15-11. They will travel Tuesday to face Troy.
Glen Rose cross country competed Wednesday at the Hico meet. Last week at Keene, the boys placed second and the girls finished third.
