Boyd is off to a 3-1 start following a 48-35 victory over Callisburg on Friday. Running back Maddox Parks finished with 198 yards and a touchdown. Parks has rushed for more than 500 yards this season.
District 4-3A play begins Friday at home against Ponder. Kickoff is 7 p.m. The Lions are 3-0 and have scored 77, 82 and 79 points in their first three games.
Lady Jackets volleyball is 21-9 and 3-0 in district play after a win over Whitesboro on Friday. Boyd plays at Callisburg Tuesday and hosts Paradise Friday. The team has won its last four matches.
Boyd cross country teams compete Thursday at Decatur.
