Eagle Mountain takes on Benbrook in Benbrook on Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. In its second year as a varsity program, the Knights have already matched their win total from 2024 with three victories. Last Friday, they defeated Ferris 47-0. Running back Terry Starks finished with 112 yards and a touchdown. Kayden Steward added a 42-yard punt return for a score.
Eagle Mountain is 3-1 and can reach 4-1 Friday against the 2-2 Bobcats, who lost to Eastern Hills in overtime 34-28 last Saturday.
Lady Knights volleyball is off to a strong start in District 7-4A. They won at Springtown in four sets and swept Castleberry out of River Oaks last week. They are 21-11 overall and 4-0 in district play, tied for the lead with Decatur. Eagle Mountain is ranked 10th in the Class 4A state poll. The Lady Knights played at Bridgeport Tuesday and host Lake Worth Friday.
