Decatur picked up its first win of the season Friday with a 50-15 victory over Graham. The Eagles finished with more than 400 yards of offense. Quarterback Rhys Ragan threw four touchdown passes, and running back Jamari Fletcher rushed for 141 yards. Decatur is 1-2 heading into district play.
The District 5-4A schedule opens Friday with a 7 p.m. home game against Carter-Riverside at Eagle Stadium. Carter-Riverside is 1-3 and allowed 80 points to Dallas Life Oak Cliff last week.
The third-ranked Decatur volleyball team enters the week 29-3 overall and 4-0 in District 7-4A after extending its winning streak to eight. The Lady Eagles faced Burkburnett on Tuesday and return home Friday to play Krum.
Decatur cross country hosts the Decatur Reunion Run on Thursday in its final meet before the district championships.
