Cleburne Yellow Jackets Sports Update – 9/29/25

Cleburne fell 16-14 to Burleson Centennial Friday in the District 7-5A opener. Down 16-7 late in the fourth quarter, Malachi Cunningham scored a four-yard touchdown, but the Jackets could not recover the ball. Cleburne is 2-3. District home opener is Friday at 7 p.m. against Midlothian, which is 3-2.

Lady Jackets volleyball won three straight, including victories over Everman and Mansfield Summit. They are 11-17 overall and 3-3 in District 8-5A. Cross country teams each placed fourth in the Granbury meet.
