Fort Worth – The All Saints Saints are back on the road Friday, traveling to Lubbock to face Trinity Christian-Lubbock. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
All Saints is 6-0 after opening TAPPS district play last week with a 49-15 win over Grapevine Faith Christian. The victory extended the Saints’ winning streak to 20 games.
The defense forced three turnovers, setting up short fields for the offense. Quarterback Gavin Beard threw for more than 200 yards and two touchdowns. Five players recorded a rushing attempt and five different players caught a pass.
Trinity Christian-Lubbock is 3-3 after dropping its TAPPS opener to Fort Worth Christian 59-14.
The Lady Saints volleyball team, now 21-5 and 10-1 in district play, has clinched a playoff berth. They swept Grapevine Faith Christian on Tuesday and hosted district leader Southwest Christian on Thursday in a matchup for first place.
