Springtown closed its 2025 football season with another dominant campaign, adding a district championship, a deep playoff push and a state ranking to its growing list of accomplishments. The Porcupines finished 12-1, marking their fifth double-digit win season in the past seven years.
The 2025 run also extended Springtown’s playoff streak to 14 consecutive seasons. The Porcupines claimed the District 5-4A championship and opened the postseason with wins over Lake Worth and Frisco Panther Creek before falling to Alvarado in the Class 4A Division I Region II semifinals.
Head coach Brian Hulett’s team enters 2026 with high expectations. Quarterback Kaine Hill returns for his senior season after producing 2,600 passing yards and 34 touchdowns, along with 600 rushing yards and 13 scores. While Springtown will look to establish new No. 1 options at running back and wide receiver, the roster remains stocked with potential.
On defense, rising senior middle linebacker Rome Ewell leads a group of returning contributors. With strong pieces in place on both sides of the ball, the Porcupines face an intriguing and promising offseason.
