Winter weather forced All Saints athletics to adjust its basketball schedule this week. Instead of both the boys and girls teams playing host to Fort Worth Christian on Tuesday, those games were moved to Monday due to school district closures.
Soccer schedules were also affected. Matches against Coram Deo Academy originally scheduled for Monday have been rescheduled for Feb. 16. Thursday’s matches were played as scheduled, with All Saints hosting Southwest Christian.
Last week, the Lady Saints held on for a 1-0 victory over Grapevine Faith Christian. They are now 10-1 on the season and have allowed just one goal in their last five matches, including shutouts in their last four. The boys fell to Grapevine Faith Christian, 4-1, dropping their record to 6-3-1.
The basketball teams are scheduled to play at Southwest Christian on Friday. The boys are 7-17 overall and 2-7 in TAPPS 1-5A play. The Lady Saints are 5-12 and 1-8 in TAPPS competition. Both teams lost to Midland Christian last Thursday.
Games against Trinity Christian, Lubbock have been rescheduled for Feb. 10.
