Lady Tiger softball is wrapping up its non-district schedule before District 6-4A play begins. The team is 11-7-1 through the first three weeks and will travel to Eagle Mountain High School Friday. Glen Rose is looking to bounce back after a tough 14-1 loss to Maypearl High School on Tuesday. Head coach Kiel Miller hopes this spring will be stronger after missing the playoffs in 2025.

Baseball is competing across Central Texas in a tournament through Saturday, with stops in Killeen, Wimberley, and Austin. Glen Rose is 3-3 so far this season, including a 3-2 finish in last week’s Harley Hogg tournament.

Track and golf are also underway. Both boys and girls track teams opened the season last week in Tolar, followed by competition in Godley on Thursday. Meanwhile, the boys and girls golf teams will host the Dinosaur Classic Friday and Saturday at Squaw Valley Golf Course.
