Spring sports continue to gain momentum for Krum as teams navigate early-season competition.
Bobcats baseball battled weather delays during Saturday’s tournament as thunderstorms rolled through the area. The Bobcats were 6-5 earlier this season as they attempt to defend their District 10-4A championship after finishing 24-9 in 2025. The district alignment differs from basketball, placing Krum in Region II alongside Frisco Panther Creek High School. District play opens this week with a home-and-home series against Panther Creek — Tuesday in Krum and Friday in Frisco.
Lady Bobcat softball sits at 12-2-2 after Friday’s game against Honey Grove High School was canceled. The team returns to action with two non-district home games: Monday against Celina High School and Tuesday versus Boyd High School.
Track and field is settling into the early portion of the season. The boys and girls teams competed Thursday in Sanger High School. Senior Marlie Morris captured first place in both the triple jump and long jump.
