District play is beginning for All Saints Episcopal School baseball as the TAPPS 1-5A season gets underway.

The Saints spent the weekend in West Texas for a two-game series against Trinity Christian-Lubbock on Friday and Saturday. All Saints entered the series with a 5-4 record.

Earlier in the week, the Saints saw a four-game winning streak come to an end with a 7-4 loss to Covenant Classical in Fort Worth.

The All Saints softball team holds a 9-4 record as it prepares to begin TAPPS 1-5A district play in the coming weeks.

The Lady Saints split a pair of home games last week. All Saints defeated Lake Country Christian 4-0 before falling to THESA, a homeschool program, 13-3. The team is off this week for spring break.

The All Saints lacrosse team is off to a 4-2 start this season. The Saints fell at Grapevine last Thursday but were coming off a notable 10-7 victory at Trinity Valley on March 14. Like several other programs at the school, lacrosse is also off this week because of spring break.

Meanwhile, the All Saints golf season is still more than a month away from beginning.
