Krum baseball enjoyed a productive week, winning Saturday’s non-district matchup against Sanger, 7-6, and sweeping winless Carrollton Ranchview in District 10-4A play, 13-2 and 12-2. The Bobcats have now won three straight games and sit at 12-8-1 overall, 3-3 in district competition. This week’s district series against Aubrey has been adjusted for the Easter holiday, with Tuesday’s game at Aubrey and Thursday at home.
Lady Bobcat softball endured a tough week, falling to Prosper Richland, 16-0, and Lake Dallas, 9-6. Krum is 13-7-2 overall and 1-3 in District 10-4A play. The Lady Bobcats aim to climb back into the playoff race with key matchups Tuesday at Ranchview and Friday at home against Frisco Panther Creek.
Krum track hosts its next meet Thursday. At last week’s meet in Springtown, senior Kassidy Forsyth won the 400 meters, while senior Marlie Morris captured the 100-meter hurdles.
