The Graham Lady Blues soccer season came to a close this past Friday with a narrow 1-0 loss to Godley in the Class 4A Division II Region I semifinals. The season, however, was a memorable one. Graham upset Lubbock Liberty, 1-0, in the area round on March 24, avenging a 1-0 loss to the same team in the 2025 playoffs. The Lady Blues finish the 2026 campaign with a 15-4-4 record, more than doubling their win total from last year.
Graham Steers baseball struggled in its District 6-4A opener last week, dropping both games to state power Brock by identical 10-0 scores. The Steers enter the week 6-10-1 overall and 0-2 in district play. Their district schedule continues with a series against Brownwood, with Tuesday’s game at home and Thursday on the road.
Steers softball also faces a challenging district slate, starting the week 8-12 overall and 1-3 in District 6-4A. The team played Tuesday at Mineral Wells and hosted Stephenville Friday.
