Lady Jackets softball has clinched a share of the District 10-3A championship. Now, they go for the outright title Tuesday night.
Boyd plays host to Ponder on senior night. The Lady Jackets are 26-2 overall and 10-0 in league play. They extended their winning streak to 21 games last week with a pair of big wins, 17-2 over Callisburg and 11-0 over Valley View.
The regular season finale is Saturday at archrival Paradise.
Jackets baseball has wrapped up a playoff berth as the final two weeks of the season approach.
Boyd is 22-2 overall and 6-2 in District 10-3A. The Jackets are currently in a three-way tie for second with Ponder and Callisburg.
They were coming off their bye week and beat Iowa Park, 11-0, on Saturday.
This week, they have a chance to break the tie with Ponder. The series starts Tuesday in Ponder and Friday at home.
The District 10-3A track meet concluded this past week at Whitesboro. Boyd will send several athletes to the area meet later this week.
