This is it for Steers baseball this week, the final week of the season.

Graham is 7-15-1 overall and 1-7 in District 6-4A. As tough as that district record is, the Steers still had a chance, but they needed to sweep Glen Rose this week and get some help to reach a playoff play-in situation.

The series with the Tigers starts Tuesday at home and continues Friday in Glen Rose.

A tough season for Lady Blues softball came to a close last week. They split their final two games, beating Brownwood 5-2 and losing to Mineral Wells 5-1. The final record is 9-17 overall and 2-8 in District 6-4A.

Graham sophomore Jagger Nees completed his golf season at the Class 4A Region I tournament in Lubbock last week. The district individual champion just missed returning to the state tournament.

At the area track meet held in Abilene last Friday, Graham is sending several athletes on to regionals, including Caden Hulsey, who advanced in the 800 and 1,600 meters, and Emerie Stogner, who qualified in the high jump.
