Granbury senior Miller Schenewark will be the final athlete representing the school in UIL athletic competition during the 2025-26 school year.
Schenewark is making his second and final appearance at the UIL Class 5A state track and field meet. He will compete in the high jump Friday at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas campus in Austin.
Schenewark qualified for state as a wild-card entry after clearing 6 feet, 6 inches and finishing third at the Class 5A Region I meet May 2 in Lubbock. His mark was better than three other qualifiers in the state field. He enters the meet tied for the fifth-best seed height at 6-6, giving him a strong opportunity to contend for a medal.
During his first state appearance as a freshman in 2023, Schenewark finished seventh in the high jump.
