All Saints lacrosse captured the Texas High School Lacrosse League Class D state championship Saturday at Highland Park’s Highlander Stadium.
The Saints defeated rival Bishop Lynch 14-7 in the championship match to win the rubber game of the season series after the teams split their first two meetings. The title marked several milestones for the program, including its first state championship and its first postseason appearance in school history. All Saints finished the 2026 season with a 10-4 record.
The All Saints boys and girls golf teams also turned in strong performances at the TAPPS 5A state tournament earlier this week. The boys team finished runner-up to Midland Christian, while the girls placed fifth. The tournament was held Monday and Tuesday at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose.
In track and field, All Saints athlete Liam Finley finished second in the 1,600 meters at last week’s TAPPS state meet.
