All Saints lacrosse captured the Texas High School Lacrosse League Class D state championship May 9 at Highland Park’s Highlander Stadium.
The Saints defeated rival Bishop Lynch 14-7 in the title game to win the rubber match of the season series after the teams split their first two meetings. The championship marked multiple milestones for the program, including its first state title and its first postseason appearance in school history. All Saints finished the 2026 season with a 10-4 record.
The All Saints boys and girls golf teams also turned in strong performances at the TAPPS 5A state tournament last week. The boys team finished runner-up to Midland Christian, while the girls placed fifth. The tournament was held Monday and Tuesday at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose.
In track and field, All Saints athlete Liam Finley placed second in the 1,600 meters at the TAPPS state meet.
