Aledo Bearcats Sports Update – 10/10/25

Aledo- The top-ranked Aledo Bearcats return home Friday to face Granbury at Tim Buchanan Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

The Bearcats are 6-0 overall and 4-0 in District 3-5A and have clinched a playoff berth for the 30th straight season. Aledo also extended its national record district winning streak to 131 games with a 15-14 comeback win at No. 5 Denton Ryan last Friday at C.H. Collins Complex.

Aledo trailed 14-2 late in the third quarter before scoring late in the period and again early in the fourth to take the lead. The defense then limited Ryan to just 11 rushing yards the rest of the way.

Fans can listen to Friday’s game against Granbury (2-3, 1-1) on 92.1 Hank FM. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with Kyle Hix, Mercedes Mayer and The Deacon on the call.

The No. 2 Ladycats volleyball team is 33-2 overall and 8-0 in District 5-5A. They clinched a playoff spot Tuesday with a sweep of Brewer and will host Granbury on Friday.

Aledo’s cross country teams compete Friday at the District 5-5A meet in White Settlement, hosted by Brewer.
