FORT WORTH, Texas — The 2025 football season begins Friday for All Saints as the defending TAPPS Division II state champions open the chase for a repeat.

The Saints travel to North Dallas to face Parish Episcopal, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Junior quarterback Gavin Beard, a move-in from Aledo this past February, will make his debut as the starter.

Parish Episcopal, a perennial TAPPS power, went 9-5 in 2024 and reached the Division I state title game. The Panthers will also have a new quarterback after 5,000-yard passer Sawyer Anderson signed with Arizona.

The two programs met in last year’s opener in West Fort Worth, with All Saints holding on for a 39-35 victory.

In volleyball, the Lady Saints competed over the weekend in the Granbury tournament, where they notched wins over Class 6A Lewisville and Class 5A Joshua. Their season continues this week.
