
The All Saints Saints remained unbeaten Friday with a 38-30 road win over Trinity Christian-Lubbock, improving to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in TAPPS District 1. The victory extended their program-record winning streak to 21 games.
Quarterback Gavin Beard threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns as All Saints made the most of limited offense, finishing with just over 200 total yards and no turnovers. Defensively, Kingston Beyer led the charge with 3.5 sacks as the unit collected six total sacks and two takeaways.
All Saints returns home Friday to host co-leader Midland Christian at 7 p.m. at McNair Stadium. The Mustangs are 5-2 and 2-0 in district play.
The Lady Saints volleyball team earned a crucial five-set win Thursday at Southwest Christian, moving to 22-5 and 11-1 in TAPPS play. They host Grace Prep on Tuesday.
