Both All Saints boys and girls basketball teams wrapped up the West Texas portion of the TAPPS District 1-5A schedule this past weekend, facing a challenging slate of opponents on the road.

The Saints boys endured a difficult weekend, falling 92-55 at Trinity Christian–Lubbock on Saturday after a 69-40 loss Friday at Midland Christian. The struggles come on the heels of a tough showing at the Snoop in Season event in Dallas prior to the New Year’s holiday. All Saints returns home Tuesday to take on Fort Worth Christian.

On the girls side, the Lady Saints also came up short in West Texas. They dropped a 47-36 decision at Trinity Christian–Lubbock on Saturday after a 52-17 loss at Midland Christian on Friday. The week proved challenging overall, as the Lady Saints also struggled in an earlier non-district loss to Gordon.

On the pitch, the defending TAPPS 5A Division II state champion Lady Saints soccer team is off to a 1-2 start this season. They return to action Monday at home against Coram Deo Academy of Flower Mound. The boys soccer team enters the week at 3-2-1 and will also face Coram Deo Academy on Monday.
