Both the Saints and Lady Saints soccer teams advanced to the TAPPS 5A postseason and will face Bishop Dunne of Dallas Monday at McNair Stadium.
The teams closed their regular seasons Monday against Coram Deo Academy of Flower Mound. The Saints boys team finished 9-3-2 after a scoreless draw with Coram Deo, while the Lady Saints completed district play 14-2-1 following a 7-0 rout of the Coram girls squad. Both teams allowed only one goal during the TAPPS district season.
National Signing Day was Nov. 4, with 17 Saints athletes signing National Letters of Intent across football, volleyball, lacrosse, softball, boys golf, and field hockey. Notable signees included softball standout Heidi Peterson, who signed with NC State University, and three volleyball players who signed with Angelo State University, the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Weatherford College.
