Both the Saints and Lady Saints soccer teams are advancing to the TAPPS 5A postseason and will face Bishop Dunne of Dallas on Monday at McNair Stadium. The girls match is scheduled for 5 p.m., followed by the boys contest at 7 p.m.
The teams wrapped up their regular seasons a week earlier against Coram Deo Academy of Flower Mound. The Saints boys team finished 9-3-2 after playing Coram Deo to a scoreless draw, while the Lady Saints closed district play 14-2-1 following a 7-0 victory over the Coram Deo girls. Both teams allowed just one goal during the TAPPS district season.
Basketball season has concluded for both programs. The Saints boys team closed its schedule Tuesday with an 87-69 loss to Trinity Christian-Lubbock, finishing the year 8-20 overall and 3-9 in TAPPS 1-5A play. The Lady Saints also fell to Trinity Christian-Lubbock, dropping a 43-32 decision to end the season 6-17 overall and 2-12 in district competition.
