FORT WORTH, Texas — The 2025 football season kicks off Friday for All Saints as the defending TAPPS Division II state champions begin the chase for a repeat.

The Saints open on the road in North Dallas against Parish Episcopal, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. Junior Gavin Beard, a move-in from earlier this year, will make his debut as the starting quarterback.

Parish Episcopal, a perennial TAPPS power, finished 2024 at 9-5 and reached the Division I state championship game. The Panthers will also debut a new quarterback after 5,000-yard passer Sawyer Anderson signed with Arizona.

The two teams met in the 2024 opener in West Fort Worth, with All Saints hanging on for a 39-35 victory.

In volleyball, the Lady Saints are competing this weekend in the KSA Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii. The tournament on Oahu began Thursday and runs through Saturday. The Lady Saints entered the event with a 7-1 record.
