Baseball played Fort Worth Christian in a TAPPS 1-5A series. The Saints came into the series with some hope of trying to get into the playoff race, but it turned into a very difficult week.
They lost the first game in North Richland Hills, 11-1, on Thursday and then fell at home on Friday, 15-1. That drops the Saints to 6-14 overall and 1-7 in TAPPS play.
All Saints plays a non-TAPPS game Monday. That is followed by a TAPPS series with Grapevine Faith Christian on Thursday and Friday.
Lady Saints softball is not having the season it was hoping for. They played a competitive series against Southwest Christian, however, All Saints dropped both meetings, 4-3 and 8-5. That drops them to 9-11 overall and 0-8 in TAPPS 1-5A.
It will not get any easier this week facing district leader and state power Midland Christian.
Lacrosse is 6-3 after it lost in overtime Thursday at Bishop Lynch. The Saints were home to Hillcrest out of Dallas on Saturday.
