Late Sunday, the Saints defeated Canyon at home, 8-3, to improve to 9-4 on the season. All Saints will face rival Bishop Lynch for the state title Saturday at Highland Park’s Highlander Stadium. The championship matchup will be the third meeting between the teams this season after they split the first two contests.
The All Saints boys and girls golf teams are also competing in the TAPPS regional tournament Monday and Tuesday at Hawks Creek Golf Course in Fort Worth, with both teams aiming to qualify for next week’s state tournament. Last week, each team captured the TAPPS 1-5A district title at the same course.
Meanwhile, coach Aaron Beck’s football program continues preparations for the 2026 season. The Saints began spring football workouts last Monday and will continue through May 15 as the program pursues a third consecutive state championship.
