The winning streak meets another pivotal moment Friday. Coming off an impressive opener last Friday, All Saints takes on explosive Argyle Liberty Christian. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at McNair Stadium.
The Saints extended their winning streak to 29 last Friday. They led wire to wire and rolled past Parish Episcopal of Dallas 31-11 at McNair Stadium.
In that matchup of defending TAPPS 5A state champions — All Saints from Division II and Parish Episcopal from Division I — Saints junior quarterback Brailon Davis delivered a strong debut. He threw for 257 yards and a pair of touchdown passes.
The offense featured two 100-yard receivers in Jaytn Brites and Noah Tarrant. All Saints built a 28-3 lead at one point, while the defense delivered a strong start.
Liberty Christian dropped its opener last week with a last-second loss to Midland Christian.
It has been a slow start to the season for Lady Saints volleyball. This is a bit of a rebuilding season for All Saints, which is 3-8 following Tuesday’s loss at Nolan Catholic.
The Lady Saints are off this weekend and return to the floor Tuesday at Arlington Oakridge.
