The Lady Saints soccer team is one step away from a second consecutive TAPPS 5A state championship.
In the regional round Thursday at Lorena, All Saints edged Austin Regents, 3-2. The Lady Saints improved to 16-2-1 and advance to the semifinals against Tyler Grace Wednesday. A win there would send them to the state championship Thursday.
The boys’ season ended last Thursday in the regional round with a 5-1 loss to Brookhill in Mabank. Corsicana finished 10-4-2 in a strong campaign.
Lady Saints softball is 8-4 through the first three weeks, including wins over public schools Irving and Castleberry. The season continues Monday.
Saints baseball has started 4-3. All Saints hosts Oakridge Monday.
