The Lady Jackets are aiming to secure victories over lower-ranked teams to strengthen their playoff push. Last week, Boyd narrowly defeated Valley View, 48-45, but struggled against district leader and No. 7 Paradise, falling 69-17.
The Boyd boys basketball team mirrors the girls’ schedule this week, traveling to Callisburg and hosting Ponder. The Jackets are 15-11 overall and 2-2 in district play, sitting in the middle of the standings. Last week, Boyd split its games, defeating Valley View, 59-40, and losing at district leader Paradise, 85-38.
