A chance to rejoice, celebrate and have some fun this past Friday. Bridgeport used the momentum of a big offensive performance against Castleberry and built on it Friday against Venus. The Bulls imposed their will and ran away, 70-0. A point total that has not been seen in quite some time for this program. The Bulls picked up their first win of the year and are now 1-2.
Final non-district game comes up Thursday at home against Carrollton Ranchview. The Wolves are 1-2. It’s a 7 o’clock kickoff. District play starts next week.
Sissies volleyball is 8-20 overall and 0-4 in District 7-4A after losses last week to Decatur and Krum. This week, Bridgeport is home to Eagle Mountain on Tuesday and at Springtown on Friday.
Cross country teams run Friday at Decatur.
