The Bridgeport Bulls hit the road Friday for their final away game of the 2025 season, traveling north to face Burkburnett. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Both teams have endured challenging seasons. Bridgeport enters the matchup 1-7 overall and 0-3 in District 3-4A, while Burkburnett is 0-8 and 0-3.

The Bulls are coming off a difficult night at home last Thursday, falling 48-0 to Eagle Mountain. The game was moved up a day due to Friday’s weather forecast. The loss marked Bridgeport’s second straight game against the top teams in the district.

In cross country, the Bridgeport boys wrapped up their season at the Class 4A Region I meet last week at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. The team finished 12th out of 24 schools, led by freshman Bayden Del Rio, who placed in the top 50 individually.

The volleyball season also concluded last week, marking the start of the offseason for the Lady Bulls.
