On the boys side, the Bulls are still fighting for a playoff spot heading into their regular-season finale Tuesday at home against Decatur. Bridgeport must beat the Eagles and get help elsewhere to stay alive.
The Bulls are chasing Lake Worth for the final District 7-4A playoff berth. Bridgeport needs a Lake Worth loss to Eagle Mountain to force a playoff play-in. If Lake Worth wins, Bridgeport’s season comes to an end.
Bridgeport is 16-17 overall and 6-7 in district play. Lake Worth sits at 7-6 in league action. Last week, the Bulls lost to Krum but earned a win over Castleberry.
