The regular season has concluded for Bridgeport soccer, with the boys advancing to the postseason while the girls’ campaign has come to an end.
Bulls soccer is headed to the playoffs after earning a share of the District 4-4A championship. Bridgeport closed the regular season with a 2-1 win over Burkburnett High School and a 3-2 victory against Mineral Wells High School last week. The Bulls finished 16-3 overall and 7-1 in district play, sharing the title with Decatur High School. Bridgeport will compete in the Class 4A Division II playoff bracket, which begins March 19.
Sissies soccer saw its season end after a 3-1 loss to Mineral Wells on Friday. Bridgeport needed a victory to force a playoff play-in game but fell short, finishing the year 3-14 overall and 0-8 in District 4-4A.
