106.9 FM The Ranch will be the home for Corsicana Tiger playoff baseball. Starting next week, Rusty Hitt will have the call of Corsicana’s postseason run.
Playoffs are likely to start next Thursday, but details will be confirmed on social media, the school website and the station website. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes before first pitch.
Tiger baseball completes the regular season Friday at home against Ennis. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
Ennis won the series opener Tuesday at home, 5-4. Corsicana is 24-5-1 overall and 9-4 in District 15-5A. The Tigers clinched a playoff spot last Friday with a 12-3 win over Red Oak.
Lady Tiger softball wrapped up the 2026 season last Friday with a 15-2 loss to Ennis. The final record is 13-17-1 overall and 5-9 in District 15-5A.
Corsicana track is sending several competitors to the Class 5A Region II meet next Friday and Saturday at UT Arlington.
Area champions include Corbin Branch in the long jump and Measha Rhinhart in the 400 meters and triple jump. The girls 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams also qualified.
