Decatur visits Eastern Hills on Friday at Handley Field with a chance to move above .500. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Eagles (2-2) cruised to a 68-0 win over Carter-Riverside last week in their District 5-4A opener. Quarterback Rhys Ragan threw five touchdown passes as the offense rolled up nearly 500 yards. Decatur led 35-0 after the first quarter.
Eastern Hills (3-2) opened district play with a 34-28 win over Western Hills.
In volleyball, the No. 3-ranked Lady Eagles entered the week 31-3 and shared the District 7-4A lead at 6-0 with No. 7 Eagle Mountain. Decatur plays at Springtown on Friday.
Senior Tate Clackler placed in the top 10 at the Decatur Reunion Run last week. Both cross country teams are idle this week.
