Decatur Eagles Sports Update – 10/09/25

Decatur – The Decatur Eagles continue District 5-4A play Thursday night in South Fort Worth, taking on Diamond Hill-Jarvis at Clark Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Coach Steve Huff’s Eagles are 3-2 overall and 2-0 in district. Last week, they erupted for 43 points in the second quarter and rolled past Eastern Hills 57-24.

Quarterback Rhys Ragan had a big night, throwing for 293 yards and six touchdowns. Through five games, he has passed for more than 1,100 yards with 19 touchdowns and no interceptions.

The No. 12 Lady Eagles volleyball team is 31-5 overall and 6-2 in District 7-4A after falling to Eagle Mountain and Springtown last week. They played Tuesday at Castleberry and are tied with Springtown for second place.

Decatur also hosted the District 7-4A cross country meet Wednesday.
