The Knights take their bye this week at 4-1 after a 46-15 win over Benbrook on Friday. Eagle Mountain has won three straight, surpassing last year’s total of three wins in its first varsity season.
Running back Terry Starks led the ground game with 100 yards and a touchdown as the Knights finished with 230 rushing yards. District 3-4A play begins Oct. 10.
Lady Knights volleyball entered the week ranked No. 8 in Class 4A. They hosted No. 3 Decatur on Tuesday in a battle for the District 7-4A lead, with both teams 6-0. Eagle Mountain travels to Krum on Friday. The Lady Knights began the week 23-11.
