Eagle Mountain baseball is advancing to the area round of the Class 4A Division II playoffs.

The Knights will face Lubbock Liberty in a best-of-three Region I series in Clyde. Eagle Mountain enters the matchup with a 17-12 record, while Liberty is 25-9. The Eagle Mountain boys and girls track and field teams also wrapped up their seasons at the Class 4A Region I meet in Lubbock. Josslyn Bayer placed sixth in the discus.
