Eagle Mountain basketball concluded its season with a 53-46 loss to Southwest High School in the Class 4A Division I Region I opening round at Brewer High School. The Knights, who finished third in District 7-4A, made the playoffs in each of the first two years of varsity competition. Eagle Mountain closes the season at 19-15.
Eagle Mountain soccer has clinched a playoff berth. The Knights began the week 10-2-2 overall and 6-1 in District 8-4A, playing at Lake Dallas High School on Tuesday.
Lady Knights soccer, 6-8-2 overall and 2-3-2 in 8-4A, is battling Springtown for the fourth and final playoff spot. They also played at district leader Lake Dallas on Tuesday.
Eagle Mountain softball opened District 7-4A play this week, traveling to Lake Worth on Tuesday and hosting Glen Rose High School on Friday. Lady Knights softball went 10-7-1 through non-district tournament play.
