Lady Tigers basketball is moving into the Class 4A Division II playoffs as the No. 2 seed from District 6-4A. Glen Rose opens Region I play Monday at 6:30 p.m. against Lubbock Liberty at Abilene Christian University. The Lady Tigers wrapped up the regular season Tuesday with a 30-19 loss at Stephenville, finishing the 2025-26 campaign at 20-16 overall and 5-5 in district play.
Last Friday, Glen Rose gave district champion and No. 3 Brock a strong battle, falling 36-27.
Tiger basketball also closes the regular season 22-10 overall and 6-2 in District 6-4A. The team lost 63-37 to Stephenville on Tuesday and previously fell 71-61 to Brock, splitting the season series with both district leaders. The Tigers are tied for second in the district and travel to Graham Friday.
On the recruiting front, TE Ryder Ribitzki signed with UT-Permian Basin on National Signing Day, Feb. 4.
