New Glen Rose head football coach Jeff Pair is beginning the process of shaping the Tigers program following his promotion last week as Cliff Watkins’ successor.
Pair is currently working to finalize his coaching staff as Glen Rose transitions into the next phase of the offseason.
The Tigers recently concluded offseason workouts and are now moving into summer strength and conditioning sessions along with UIL-approved sport instruction programs.
Glen Rose also wrapped up its May 7-on-7 league schedule Tuesday. The Tigers will compete in two state qualifying tournaments later this month in hopes of earning a berth in the Texas State 7-on-7 Tournament, scheduled for June 25-27 at Veterans Park in College Station.
In college signing news, hurdler Tyson Sullivan has signed with Tarleton State.
