While the District 3-4A championship is out of reach, the Graham Steers are looking to finish the regular season in second place as they host Eagle Mountain on Friday at Newton Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Both teams have already secured playoff berths and enter the matchup 3-1 in district play. Graham is 6-3 overall, while Eagle Mountain comes in 7-2.

Last Friday, Graham fell 28-7 on the road to No. 3-ranked Brock. The Steers struggled offensively, managing just over 100 total yards, though the defense forced four turnovers. Unfortunately, Graham was unable to turn those takeaways into points.

Eagle Mountain, meanwhile, had to hold off a late rally from Mineral Wells last week, building an early lead before escaping with a 35-30 win.

On the volleyball court, the Lady Blues’ season has come to an end. Graham fell to Frenship Memorial of Lubbock in the opening round of the Class 4A Division I Region I playoffs after defeating Abilene in a warmup match. The Lady Blues finished the year with a 28-14 record.
