Graham’s 2025 football season is over. The Steers pushed No. 4 Midland Greenwood last Friday in Abilene, but it wasn’t enough. Greenwood came away with a 36-21 win in the Class 4A Division II Region I semifinals. Graham finishes the season at 9-4, marking the second straight year the Steers advanced past the area round.
In the loss, quarterback Jace Gill threw for 179 yards and a touchdown, while running back Dylan Cox scored two rushing touchdowns. There’s nothing to hang their heads about against an undefeated team. We’ll wrap up the 2025 season next week.
Lady Blues basketball will have the first half of this week off. They are 4-4 for the season after a tough showing last week at the Bowie Tournament. They will play in the Wichita Falls City View Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
The boys team is off to a 3-0 start. Last week, they topped Breckenridge 48-38. The Steers played at Colorado City Tuesday, then will head to the Albany Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
