Graham’s Jess Neely competed in the Class 4A Region I boys golf tournament in Lubbock. The two-day event started Monday and ended Tuesday at Shadow Hills Golf Course.
Neely was coming off winning the District 6-4A boys individual title last week.
Lady Blues softball’s season comes to a close this week. They were officially eliminated from playoff contention this past Friday with an 8-1 loss to district leader Brock.
Graham is 8-16 overall and 1-7 in District 6-4A.
As for baseball, the Steers are not out of playoff contention but must have a strong finish to give themselves a chance.
Graham was swept by Mineral Wells last week, 10-1 and 7-4. The Steers are 7-13-1 overall and 1-5 in District 6-4A.
They face Stephenville in a series this week, Tuesday at home and Friday in Stephenville.
At the District 6-4A track meet last week at Graham, Caden Hulsey won the boys 800 meters, Andon Dewayne Masterfield captured the boys 110-meter hurdles and Kaden Atwood won the girls 100-meter dash.
All will advance to the area meet Friday in Abilene.
