GRAHAM — The Steers return to the field Friday following their bye week and the close of non-district play. Graham enters the second half of the season with a 3-2 record.
The Steers took momentum into the break with a 35-10 win over Lake Worth on Sept. 26. Through five games, the Graham offense has been balanced with nearly 900 passing yards and just under 1,100 rushing yards. That’s a 55-45 run to pass ratio, a number most coaches look for heading into the district schedule.
Graham opens District 3-4A play at Burkburnett. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The Bulldogs are 0-5.
In volleyball, the Lady Blues are 25-9 but 1-3 in District 6-4A play. They hosted Mineral Wells on Tuesday and travel to Brownwood on Friday after recent losses to Stephenville and Brock.
The Graham cross country teams competed Monday at the District 6-4A meet in Brock.
