Granbury Lady Pirates soccer is on the verge of clinching a playoff berth this week, but Tuesday’s District 5-5A matchup against second-place Azle will be a challenge. Granbury is 12-5-2 overall and third in the district at 5-1-2. Azle is 6-1-2. The Lady Pirates play at Brewer Friday. Last week, they defeated Saginaw and Keller Fossil Ridge.
Granbury boys soccer is winding down its season with four matches remaining, sharing the same schedule as the girls but at opposite locations.
Granbury softball went 4-2 at the Ellis County Tournament over the weekend, bringing its spring record to 8-12. The team opens 5-5A play Tuesday at Keller Fossil Ridge and hosts Saginaw on Friday.
Granbury baseball finished 2-3 at the Cleburne and Joshua Tournament, moving to 5-4-1 for 2026. The Pirates’ final tournament begins Thursday at Brewer High School.
