KRUM, Texas — The Bobcats erupted for 34 second-half points Friday to pull away from Lake Worth 47-10 at home. Krum improved to 2-0.
Quarterback Elijah Guerrero threw touchdown passes to Mateo Gonzalez and Will Holland. Holland also added a rushing score. The Bobcats’ defense and special teams contributed two touchdowns, as Daniel Holt returned a blocked punt for a touchdown and Sean Welcome returned an interception for a score in the fourth quarter.
Krum wraps up non-district play Friday with a 7 p.m. kickoff at Carrollton Ranchview. The Wolves are 1-1.
In other Krum sports, Lady Bobcats volleyball looks to rebound Tuesday at home against Castleberry in District 7-4A play. Krum is 14-12 overall and 0-2 in district after losses to Eagle Mountain and Springtown. The Bobcats’ cross country team is off this week.
